Reva Zhao Azeez

ROA Partners, Inc.

Founder and Managing Partner

In 1998, Reva Zhao Azeez came to the United States alone as a 15-year-old Chinese foreign student with no English language skills. Originally a concert pianist, she chose a career in financial services to touch lives beyond the scope of her art. In 2010, Reva married her husband, Omar, also a Financial Advisor and together established their family business, ROA2 Partners, developing a reputation throughout Greater Houston for offering comprehensive financial planning including business succession, estate planning, wealth management and asset protection to closely held businesses.

Working with her husband, Reva relates strongly to family-owned businesses. “We relate to the needs of both families and businesses. We are able to provide suitable recommendations through an attentive mix of caring and science,” she explains.

Reva has been awarded numerous industry awards for her accomplishments, leadership, and rapid advancement in a highly competitive career. In 2016, Reva was presented the 40 Under 40 award and in 2017 she was the Women Who Mean Business honoree by the Houston Business Journal, in recognition of her contribution to the Houston business community. Through mentoring and motivational speaking, she gives back to those who have nurtured her success. She is a mentor at the University of Houston Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship, Women MBA International UH Chapter, and the Murry Hill Institute, where she previously had a seat on the board. She is currently on the Board of Directors for Sky High for Kids, a nonprofit organization providing comfort and research for children undergoing life-threatening conditions.

Reva attended the University of Houston, where she earned degrees in Finance and Marketing, and Certification in Entrepreneurship. Reva has completed the Certified Financial Planning post bachelor program at Rice University. She obtained the Certified Family Business Specialist (CFBS) designation through the American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
