In honor of Pamela Prince-Eason’s extraordinary legacy, the WBENC Legacy Fund was established to ensure that her bold vision for women’s economic empowerment continues to thrive. This fund supports the growth, inclusion, and long-term success of women-owned businesses, small businesses, and entrepreneurs across the nation — fueling opportunity and impact where needed most.

Make a Pledge Today to the WBENC Legacy Fund

During her tenure as WBENC Board Chair (2010-2011) and later as President & CEO (2011-2025), Pam led the organization through a period of unprecendented growth. Under her leadership, the number of Certified Women’s Business Enterprises more than doubled — from 10,000 to over 21,000. Our network of National Corporate and Government Members grew from 300 to more than 550. The suite of WBENC professional development programs expanded tenfold, from just 3 to over 30, empowering thousands of women business owners to scale and succeed.

The WBENC Legacy Fund is a tribute to Pam’s lifelong commitment to create lasting change and focuses on the many ways that WBENC and its supporters live out the WBENC mission. With your support, we will continue to invest in the next generation of women and small business entrepreneurs and deepen our impact in communities nationwide, in alignment with the WBENC mission. Together, we can honor and continue her legacy — not just in name, but in action.

Contributions to the WBENC Legacy Funds are unrestricted gifts to WBENC.  WBENC will use the WBENC Legacy Fund to provide financial support for programs WBENC considers consistent with Pamela Prince-Eason’s vision and with the WBENC tax-exempt mission.  The Legacy Fund is not an endowment and thus, principal, interest and appreciation of the Legacy Fund may be expended in a manner and over a time period as determined by WBENC and the Legacy Fund will bear a fair portion of WBENC administrative costs consistent with WBENC policies.
