Elena Morales is the Founder, President, and majority owner of SMT Automation LLC, a woman-owned industrial automation and engineering firm specializing in systems integration, robotics, and advanced manufacturing solutions. With more than 25 years of experience across manufacturing, automation, engineering, and global supply chain management, she leads all aspects of the company’s strategy, operations, and financial performance.

Prior to founding SMT Automation, Elena held senior sourcing and purchasing leadership roles at Continental Automotive, where she led global supplier strategies, negotiated complex contracts, and supported multinational manufacturing operations. She began her career in engineering roles at Lear, Delphi, and Siemens VDO, building a strong technical foundation in manufacturing and process optimization.

Elena is deeply committed to operational excellence, supplier diversity, and empowering women-owned businesses to become enterprise-ready and competitive in corporate supply chains. Outside of her professional work, she is a proud mom of two young adults and has long enjoyed serving her church and supporting Hispanic families through community engagement and mentorship.
