Amy Rowland

Pangea Biological

CEO & President

Amy Rowland is the CEO and President of Pangea Biological (Okapi Environmental Group, Inc.), a field-proven environmental compliance and training firm supporting utilities and critical infrastructure. Amy’s rule of corporate readiness: Winning corporate work is the easy part. Keeping it takes operational rigor, inspection readiness, and trust you earn daily.

She helps project teams reduce risk, stay inspection-ready, and execute safely in high-stakes environments so corporate contracts are won (or lost) in the details. Amy is known for translating complex requirements into practical, crew-ready standards that protect safety, schedule, and reputation. She brings a candid, no-fluff lens to what it takes to be “corporate-ready” when expectations are high and margins are real.

A wildlife biologist by training and a proud “Chief Snake Wrangler,” Amy brings operational excellence and real-world credibility to utility and infrastructure projects where compliance is nonnegotiable and one missed detail becomes a public problem. She pairs field credibility with the operational rigor corporate contracts demand: clean documentation, predictable delivery, and risk controls that actually work.

She serves as 1st Vice Chair on the board of Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP) and serves on the board of the Association of Women in Water, Energy and Environment (AWWEE), advocating for women business owners and leaders to have fair access to capital, contracts, and decision-making tables so progress shifts for this generation and the next.
