The 2023 Energy Executive Program hosts its 6th annual cohort including 4virtual weekly sessions from September 19th – October 10th and 3 days in-person in Houston, TX from November 7th – November 9th

The Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) is proud to present its sixth annual cohort of the WBENC Energy Executive Program, a highly interactive and immersive executive education experience focused on driving development of Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) leaders within the Energy Industry thanks to our partnered corporations; BP America Inc., Chevron, ExxonMobil Corporation, Hess and Shell USA, Inc.

The Energy Executive Program helps women-owned businesses grow their Energy industry knowledge and relationships through educational virtual seminars and on-site field trips to state-of-the-art energy industry facilities. These experiences will increase their competitive advantages, enhance their capabilities within the industry, and secure their place as a critical part of the global energy supply chain.

“The WBENC Energy Executive Program, together with the leadership of Participating Corporations BP America Inc., ExxonMobil Corporation, Chevron, Hess and Shell USA, Inc., continues again this year to be incredibly valuable in developing women-owned businesses as successful future suppliers of the Energy Industry and further breaking down barriers for women entrepreneurs,” says Pamela Prince-Eason, WBENC President & CEO. “As the Energy Industry evolves and grows, this hybrid program will do the same in order to fuel knowledge, inspiration and engagement within the Energy Industry.

BP America Inc., Chevron, ExxonMobil Corporation, Hess and Shell USA, Inc. actively participate in the program to guide the educational, industry and business-oriented development within the energy sector. These influential energy corporations are working together to increase the capacity and spend with women-owned businesses in the global energy supply chain, increasing these WBEs’ value and potential growth as key suppliers to the industry going forward.

Participants then engage in a 3-day hands-on immersive training program with experiential and networking activities, tours of various corporations’ facilities, covering chemicals, technology, innovation, and corporate headquarters.
