The Women’s Business Council – Southwest (WBCS) is pleased to partner with WBENC on the delivery of a Women of Color webinar during the WBENC 2021 Focus on the Future.

“The Art of Capability Statements” will be presented on March 24, 2021 at 2 PM – 4 PM EST, sponsored by The Coca Cola Company, JPMorgan Chase & Co., Southern California Edison, and Walmart, Inc. Learn more and register here.

The session will be filled with practical information about how to develop a capability statement that stands out and effectively communicates your company’s strengths.

Suzanne Cruz-Sewell with the Dallas/Ft. Worth International Airport and Eyvon C. Austin with The Coca-Cola Company will share their insights on what corporations and governmental entities look for in capability statements, and how essential they are to the process of securing business. In addition, we will hear from three WBE panelists from different industries, who will share the importance and the nuances of effective capability statements to communicating your company story in a unique and dynamic way. But we don’t stop there. We will follow up the webinar with a workshop one week later where we can really interact, share the capability statements you’ve developed, and get feedback from each other – bring them to life!

We are particularly excited about this session because it’s an opportunity to combine three important aspects of the WBENC Network into one great webinar:

  • Sharing valuable instruction that is practical and delivers high return for your business – Capability Statements
  • Tailoring programs that build community and create space for relationship-building and shared experience – the Women of Color Program that’s delivered nationally and regionally
  • Collaboration between WBENC and the Regional Partner Organizations to ensure access and relevancy for all WBEs across the nation.

The WBENC Network is all about helping WBEs grow and successfully compete in the national and global economy. We provide state of the art programming and content that addresses all aspects of running and leading a business.

At the same time, we know that success in business is just like in life – it’s all about relationships. So we support one another, we connect each other, and we learn from each other. Our Women of Color program has done just that, and is creating space for mutual growth and support.

And, without collaboration between WBENC and the network of Regional Partner Organizations, we wouldn’t have the premier certification and business development program for women in the country. WBCS is proud to partner with WBENC and to highlight the outstanding leaders of our Women of Color initiative who are delivering this session.

We hope to see many of you at our Capability Statement Webinar and throughout the WBENC 2021 Focus on the Future programming.

This session is part of the WBENC 2021 Focus on the Future event series. There's still time to join us!
