Applications are now open for WeTHRIVE Summer 2021! WeTHRIVE was designed to help WBEs survive the uncertainty of today and grow and thrive for the future. WBENC launched WeTHRIVE in the summer of 2020 to support WBEs through the uncertainty and unprecedented economic challenges as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.  Applications are now open for WeTHRIVE Summer 2021 cohort, kicking off July 27, 2021. 

The feedback we received from the first 2 cohorts and nearly 400+ WBEs who have participated has been so overwhelmingly positive, we are excited to announce the 3rd WeTHRIVE cohort.

Over the 8-week program WBEs will attend virtual learning session with their track across five disciplines (Leadership & Communication, Financial Management, Business Strategy, Operations & Human Resources, and Marketing & Sales). WBEs should plan to commit about 3 to 4 hours per week to participate in:

  • Weekly two-hour courses from leading instructors held on Tuesday (SURVIVE), Wednesday (GROW), or Thursday (THRIVE) from 12 PM–2 PM EST.
  • 3 to 4 peer group sessions to network, collaborate, and connect with WBE peers held for approximately one hour on Fridays at 11 AM EST.

  • Evaluate the sustainability of your business today.
  • Learn strategies to sustain your business in times of crisis and to build in recovery.
  • Practice skills targeted at alternative strategies for growth.
  • Engage with WBE peers on the impacts and aftermath of COVID-19 to find and share solutions to critical business issues.
  • Build a community of WBEs that will serve to support your growth into the future.

How to Apply

Applications for the 2021 WeTHRIVE cohort are open Monday, June 14 through Monday, July 12, 11:59pm PT. Applications will close on July 12, 20201. The Acceptance Notification will be sent out on July 16, 2021 and the program will start on July 27, 2021. The program will end on September 3, 2021.
