We can’t wait to be TOGETHER AGAIN at the 2022 WBENC National Conference in Atlanta, June 7-9, 2022! To get you even more excited, we are providing inspiration, advice and insights from our Host Committee members, all WBENC-Certified WBEs that have stepped up in a big way to help make the National Conference an amazing experience this year.

Meet Anita Davis, President of Praxis Strategic Solutions and Host Committee member, as she shares her perspective on being BOLD in 2022. Praxis Strategic Solutions is a dynamic consulting firm that delivers capacity building solutions in three related segments.

In this video, Anita Davis, President of Praxis Solutions and 2022 National Conference Host Committee member, talks about how ‘Be Bold’ comes to fruition being a woman in business. ‘Be Bold’ means taking significant steps to secure the future of a product or service from starting a business, rethinking growth strategies, and innovating continuously over time.

Anita states to ‘Be Bold’ is to understand financial metrics in your business. Coming from a 20-year banking and lending career, Davis successfully helped business owners acquire millions of dollars in capital to grow their businesses. However, most companies struggle to acquire the funding needed to maintain or scale their business. Understanding the ins and outs of the financial metrics of your business is one of the boldest things an entrepreneur can do and can often be the defining factor in the success of a business.

By continuously creating connections and uplifting other WBEs, every woman can ‘Be Bold’ and continue growing within their business. By establishing trust between women-owned businesses, we can share our strengths and aid in our weaknesses.

Join Anita and the rest of the attendees in Atlanta, Georgia for the WBENC National Conference taking place June 7-9*. WBENC, along with our 2022 National Conference Co-Chairs, Accenture, AT&T, The Coca-Cola Company, UPS, Accel inc., ALOM, Ampcus Inc., and BoldHaus look forward to connecting in person again, sharing bold and innovative best practices, learning industry trends and celebrating accomplishments by our WBEs and Corporate Members that further a diverse supply chain and business opportunities for women entrepreneurs.
