Our Story
Founded in 2009, Journey Steel is a self-performing structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication, erection and UAS company. Journey provides structural and miscellaneous steel that includes beams, columns, joist, deck, stairs, railings, ladders, bollards and more. They fulfill the construction needs for new buildings, renovations, additions, and industrial facilities. Journey also provides drone technology used for inspections, construction projects, maintenance and inventory needs, aerial photography, marketing and special projects.
In 2016, Journey Steel founded Journeys Soaring Impact Ironworking Pre-Apprenticeship program, which provides training and direct entry into an ironworking career for inner-city/underserved 12th grade students.

Job Growth
Journeys Soaring Impact has produced 13 graduates that have quality paying industry careers or went to college through this program addressing systemic barriers to employment by blending mentorship, education, and economic empowerment — showing young people they have a place and a purpose in the construction industry
