Zoë Dunn is president and CEO of Hale Advisors, the marketing governance company she cofounded in 2010. Under her leadership, Hale Advisors has set the industry standard for simplifying regulatory compliance while enabling marketing innovation. Twice named an MM+M Best Places to Work, Hale Advisors is honored to have had 18 of the top 25 pharmaceutical and two of the top five medical device companies among its clients.  

Zoë’s expertise includes digital and omnichannel marketing and modular content readiness. A frequent industry author, she recently penned the essential reference “Navigating the shift to omnichannel marketing” for Regulatory Focus, the peer-reviewed journal of RAPS, the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society. 

 Named an MM+M Woman of Distinction in 2024, Zoë is a service-oriented entrepreneur and determined change agent. She has sustained a career-long effort to unite the life sciences industry against its thorniest marketing and regulatory challenges, collaborating with FDA’s Office of Prescription Drug Promotion (OPDP) to help shape how the industry looks at risk and marketing and to advocate for progress in the use of digital governance and guidelines.  

 A past adjunct professor at Saint Joseph’s University’s Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Marketing MBA program, Zoë authored the “Social Media and Marketing” chapter in the Food and Drug Law Institute (FDLI) book Using Social Media in FDA-Regulated Industries: The Essential Guide. She served on ExL Pharma’s advisory board, has chaired or spoken at more than 40 industry conferences, and has judged creative awards annually for over ten years. 

 Zoë earned a BA from the University of Vermont and is a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10KSB program, a curriculum designed by Babson College, the nation’s top-ranked school for entrepreneurship.
