Senior Loan Officer

Todd Van Appledorn began learning the lending business over 30 years ago at Ann Arbor’s Republic Bank. From there he had the opportunity to start in on the ground floor of the new University Bank where he put together and ran a successful construction lending program. Over the next 9 years he made his way up to overseeing every aspect of the commercial loan department, as well as being the Security Officer for the bank. In 2005 Todd had the opportunity to take over the Business Banking operations for Metrobank/CF Bancorp’s Oakland County branches. There he was responsible for coordinating the Business Banking Activities for 4 Oakland County Branches as well as managing a $15 million portfolio. In 2009, Mr. Van Appledorn had the opportunity to join CEED (The Center for Empowerment and Economic Development, Now just CEED Lending), where he had served on its micro Loan committee since 2000 and on its Board of Directors from 2002 through 2008. At CEED’s Ann Arbor office Todd took over as its loan officer overseeing the micro loan activities for the 9 county service area in SE Michigan. Todd is still actively working with entrepreneurs, partners, and micro loan customers for CEED Lending throughout Southeast Michigan.
