Global Director Procure To Pay

Sinchan is currently a Global Procure to Pay Director in the Source to Pay Procurement Organization.  In this role, he has direct accountability for the Transactional Purchasing space which includes Requisition to Purchase order creation, Invoice processing and payments and Travel Expense processing for Dow as well as all JV partners. Additionally, Sinchan serves as a member of the Purchasing Leadership Team.
Sinchan began his career with Dow in September 2008 as the Purchasing Director for Dow India. In late 2010, he moved to Midland to join the Purchasing Leadership Team as the Director for the Expertise Centre. In this role, he led the Continuous improvement Program for Global Purchasing. In 2014, Sinchan repatriated back to India to lead Dow’s Shared Services Centre in Mumbai which provided transactional support to a number of functions within the Company. During this time, he also served as a member of Dow’s Global Shared Services Leadership Team. During 2014 – 2017, Sinchan worked with a subset of Dow’s Purchasing and Shared Services leadership on the design and the implementation of the next generation of Dow’s Transactional Purchasing. In 2018, Sinchan was named to his current role as the Global Director for Procure to Pay within the Source to Pay Procurement Organization and repatriated back to Midland, Michigan to discharge this role. In his current role, his team and he are accountable to manage around $ 40.00 billion of spend through processing around 1.5 MM Purchase orders, 4.5 MM invoices and around 0.15 MM Travel expense statements.
