Sharon Olzerowicz is President and CEO of Hired by Matrix, Inc. (HbM). What began as an Information Technology consulting company in 1986 has grown into a leading full-service staffing firm, employing over three hundred people. Sharon’s client-centric approach has led to an impressive roster of Fortune 500 and mid-market companies that rely on her team to deliver
on-demand talent solutions.

For 30 years, HbM has grown and adapted to the ever-changing economy, thanks to Sharon’s leadership. Known as a professional “matchmaker,” she has a natural gift for connecting people to the right tools and resources they need for success. Her drive and commitment to people serve as the foundation of HbM’s reputation for putting clients’ needs first. For Sharon, it is paramount that she serves as a trusted partner who understands her clients’ unique business goals, culture, and staffing needs. These values are part of HbM’s DNA and are evidenced by the company’s diverse portfolio of long-term clients.

Sharon’s not just an advocate for her clients, but she leads her teams with equal parts diligence, innovation, and passion. HbM’s $28 million in revenue reflects her “team first” philosophy and commitment to delivering the best despite the challenges of a highly saturated and competitive marketplace. With her personal dedication to making a difference, Sharon created HbM’s Charitable Giving Program, which encourages employees to volunteer their time, talent, and money to local charities.

When she is not helping companies find the perfect match for their teams, it is likely Sharon is guiding the next woman business owner toward success. She offers up her firsthand knowledge of the unique challenges facing women business owners and serves as a champion for female-led organizations. As a mentor in the prestigious Committee of two hundred Protégé Program and lifetime contributor to The C200 Foundation exemplifies this commitment. Sharon also recently completed a term on Women’s Business Enterprise National Council’s National Board of Directors.

Throughout her career dedicated to helping clients, colleagues, and her community, many organizations have recognized Sharon with awards. Most recently, the Greater Women’s Business Council (GWBC) honored her with the LACE (Ladies Achieving Continuous Excellence) Trailblazer Award. In 2013, the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year program selected her as an award finalist. New Jersey Monthly named Sharon a winner of its “Leading Women Entrepreneurs & Business Owners Award.” Additionally, her passion for entrepreneurship, mentoring and giving back to the community netted her SmartCEO magazine’s Brava!
