Director, Supplier Diversity

Rosa Botello serves as Director of Supplier Diversity for Beam Suntory. In this newly created role, Rosa is responsible for setting the global strategic direction, infrastructure, and policy of their Supplier Diversity program.

Prior to joining Beam Suntory, Botello was Global Head of Supplier Diversity and Small Business Liaison Officer for Motorola Solutions Supplier Diversity Program. Under her leadership, its diverse spend resulted in an economic impact of over $1B in revenue generation and 10K+ jobs retained or created in the US. Rosa is an accomplished change agent with 15+ years of experience developing, and successfully leading enterprise-wide strategies build on competitive advantage, corporate responsibility, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Her career has spanned across industries and multinational organizations including the McDonald’s Corporation, The Nielsen Media Company, and Motorola Solutions. Her background includes International Account Management, Sales, Supply Planning, Global Procurement, Corporate Strategy, and Supplier Diversity.

Rosa also serves as President Emeritus of tech: SCALE, Executive Board Member and Treasurer of the Food & Beverage Industry Group, Mentor and Emerge Lab sponsor for Chicago Scholars, DEI Committee Advisor with the Chicago Chamber of Commerce, Mentor with the Illinois Science and Technology Coalition and Entrepreneurship Program Advisor for Chi Tech Academy. She is also a member of the Center of Excellence for Beam Suntory’s Salud ERG.

Rosa was recognized in 2022 as a “Latina Making her Mark” by Chicago Latino Network; 2021 “Chicago’s Latinos 40 under 40”, 2021 “Top 15 Women in Power Impacting Diversity” and inducted to the 2021 “Hall of Fame LatinX Exceptional Leaders” by theBoardIQ. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
