Founder & CEO

Rachel Domb founded Rooted Living, a plant-based, gluten-free, and refined ingredient-free snack company at 19-years-old after experiencing frustration by the amount of plastic used in the snack industry. With the help of a local bakehouse, Rooted Living produces award-winning granola wrapped in 100% home compostable packaging that breaks down in just 3 months, redefining a wasteful packaged food industry.

Rachel is deeply passionate about the ethical and environmental benefits of a plant-based food system. She is a recent graduate of Northeastern University, where she created her own major: The Sustainable Business of Food.

Rooted Living was built on the belief that better-for-you food should also be better for the planet – from strategic production partnerships to eco-conscious packaging and community-driven marketing, every aspect of its operations was designed with impact in mind. Rooted Living continues to grow through retail expansion, e-commerce, and mission-aligned collaborations while remaining rooted in transparency, innovation, and sustainability.
