Program Manager Supplier Diversity

Polly Lenear serves as the Program Manager Supplier Diversity for General Motors. She was appointed to this position in 2010 and is currently responsible for the Logistics and Customer Care and Aftermarket strategy for the inclusion of Minority and Women Owned businesses. She is the GM lead for the women’s organizations: Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), Great Lakes Women’s Business Council (GLWBC), WBE Canada, National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), and National Association of Black Suppliers (NABS).

She has received various awards and recognition for her work in Supplier Diversity and has been featured in Women’s Enterprise (WE) USA Magazine, Minority Business News (MBN) Magazine “Best of the Decade in Supplier Diversity” and Diversity Canada Magazine as “Diversity Change Leader”. She is the recipient of the NAWBO Supplier Diversity Champion award and the Corporate Champion of the Year Award for Great Lakes Women’s Business Council (GLWBC). With over 25 years of automotive Global Supply Chain and Procurement experience, she is viewed by her colleagues as a subject matter expert.

Polly holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Detroit Mercy and a Master of Science degree in Business Administration from Central Michigan University.
