Mitzi Appling Beebe holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and has been involved in the energy industry for the last twenty-five years.

Mitzi has worked for Hercules Chemical, BASF, Brown & Williamson Tobacco and bp. She currently is at the BP Whiting Refinery as the Process Safety & Risk Superintendent accountable for risk management, operating management systems, incident investigations and learning and health, safety & environmental performance management. She has held multiple roles in HSE, maintenance, operations, and commercial departments.

Mitzi has broad experience in managing development and implementation of business processes particularly related to reliability and operations as well as integration of ERP systems in maintenance, financial and performance management.

Mitzi has been married for twenty-nine years and has two adult children.
