Senior Manager II Supplier Inclusion

Marc Winston is Senior Manager II of Supplier Inclusion at Walmart Inc. His team is responsible for building an inclusive supply chain that reflects Walmart’s customer base by increasing spend with underrepresented groups and embedding supplier inclusion into the company’s overall strategic business objectives. He is passionate about developing and leading procurement strategies, and leading both Walmart and their suppliers to succeed.

Marc joined Walmart in 2013 and has worked his way through the enterprise in many different capacities, beginning with Walmart’s Private Fleet. He went on to support the private fleet’s inbound transportation business, and later supported all of Walmart’s inbound transportation. It was during this time, that Marc starting his experience working with suppliers, as he educated, supported, and advised on Walmart’s OTIF initiative. Marc has spent time working on designated projects with the company’s Direct Imports Team, as well as Global Logistics.
In 2019, Marc was promoted to his Supplier Inclusion role, where he oversees all the program’s professional services, along with the Supplier Inclusion’s Tier II program. He was recently promoted to Senior Manager II of Supplier Inclusion.

Marc Winston led Walmart’s Supplier Inclusion Program for most of 2022, while the team transitioned from Walmart US to Walmart International, and He also owns many of the Walmart Supplier Inclusion external relationships.

In his career before Walmart, Marc has a background in sales, retail finance, and investment banking.

An Arkansas native, Marc Winston earned his Bachelor of Science Business Administration, concentration Business Management, from the University of Central Arkansas and certifications in Supply Chain from The University of Arkansas. He resides in the Northwest Arkansas area, home to Walmart’s Home Office.
