Laurelle Smith joined Adient in September 2021, as a manager in Indirect Purchasing. She is responsible for Facilities Management and Indirect Products and Services for North America and serves as the president of Adient’s African Ancestry Business Resource Group. She is also a member of the Women’s Resource Network and a part of their Professional Development pillar.

Previous to joining Adient, Laurelle spent 10 years at FCA/Stellantis, where she held various roles within Purchasing, including Supplier Diversity Program Manager, supporting the Asian Pacific Chamber of Commerce, Detroit Regional LGBT Chamber of Commerce, Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the National Business League. Before working at Stellantis, she worked at several large Tier I suppliers as a commodity manager.

Laurelle is a CPSM and holds a degree in Materials & Logistics Management from Michigan State University and an MBA from Wayne State University.
