Program Manager Supplier Diversity

For over 10 years, LaToyia Brooks Harris has been a noteworthy leader in the sourcing & procurement space. Prior to joining Amazon as a Supplier Diversity Program Manager, she served as the Supplier Diversity Program Leader at Baker Hughes. In this role she was centrally responsible for all functions of the supplier diversity program including internal and external advocacy, spend analysis, reporting, strategic alliances and more. Prior to her current role, LaToyia contributed to the supply chain and supplier diversity initiatives with GE Oil & Gas and Shell Oil.

LaToyia and the Baker Hughes team were honored to receive the 2022 Outstanding Supplier Diversity Recognition by the Houston Business Journal. In 2021, Baker Hughes received the Rigel Award from the Houston Minority Supplier Development Council for increased spend with certified minority owned businesses.

With a deep commitment to community and giving back, LaToyia previously served on the Advisory Board of Directors for Best Buddies of Houston, also on the advisory board of the North Harris County Educational and Development Foundation. LaToyia has also contributed her time towards Habitat for Humanity. LaToyia is a Life Member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and was a charter member of the North Harris County Alumnae Chapter. She also played a key role in establishing the North Harris County Alumni Chapter Foundation to expand their non-profit and philanthropic reach.
LaToyia holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Sam Houston State University and currently resides in Houston, Texas.
