Kevin A. Watkins, M.B.A. is a Banking and Community Impact Leader with more than 25 years in financial services, specializing in community and business development, wealth management, sales leadership and financial education.  
 
Kevin currently serves as Community Impact Manager at Fifth Third Bank, where he leads community engagement and impact initiatives, develops strategic relationships with nonprofit, civic, business, government, and community leaders, and helps direct resources toward initiatives that advance economic mobility, financial inclusion, community development, and small-business growth. 
 
Prior to joining Fifth Third, Kevin spent more than 21 years with Comerica Bank, advancing from Management Trainee to Vice President/Banking Center Manager, where he managed a deposit portfolio of approximately $260 million. He later served as Michigan External Affairs Manager and National African American Business Development Manager, leading community partnerships, CRA-qualified initiatives, financial education, philanthropy, and business development efforts. 
 
A graduate of Eastern Michigan University, Kevin holds both a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Business Administration. He remains actively engaged in community development and currently serves in leadership roles with the Central Detroit Christian Community Development Corporation, Metropolitan Affairs Coalition, Wayne County CRA Association, West Michigan CRA Association, and Urban League of Detroit and Southeastern Michigan. 
 
Kevin’s commitment to community leadership has earned him the Better Together Award from New Way Works and the Community Leadership & Advocacy Award from The Unity Collaborative. He is passionate about using his financial services expertise, community partnerships, and leadership experience to create economic opportunity and strengthen the communities he serves.
