Her role as the co-founder of Beckon, a proud WBENC-Certified Women Business Enterprise (WBE) and U.S. patent holder, has instilled in her a knack for innovative problem-solving and strategic business growth. At Beckon, Katy and her co-founder successfully navigated multiple equity capital raises, providing her with firsthand experience in assessing the best investment vehicle and structure for her business’s size and goals at the time. Identifying the need for capital, crafting the pitch, and marketing the deal are as much an art as they are sciences.

Together, Katy will discuss crafting effective business strategies rooted in understanding success drivers, sustainability, and driving stakeholder value.
