James joined The Home Depot in 2013 and has held multiple positions of increasing responsibility across the Human Resources organization including District Human Resources Manager, Regional and Territory Associate Relations Manager, and most recently, Regional Human Resources Director supporting the Southwest Region.
James was instrumental in the successful rollout of SLS as a pilot region. He brings a strong track record of developing talent and effectively leading his team through change initiatives.

Prior to joining The Home Depot, James served as a Regional Human Resources Manager for Burlington Coat Factory and held store management leadership positions in several retailers including Dick’s Sporting Goods, Target, and Toys R Us. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Dillard University, an MBA from University of Phoenix and is certified by the Society for Human Resources Management.
