Erica Tesch

Target

Accelerator Program Manager

Erica Tesch is a program manager on the Target Accelerators team, where she leads the charge for Target Takeoff. She’s deeply involved in every stage of the program—from sourcing standout brands to coordinating educational experiences and supporting business development. Her knack for keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes makes her a go-to partner across execution, operations, and systems.

Erica’s journey at Target began in 2012 as an executive assistant. Over the years, she’s worked across a variety of teams including Merchandising, HR, Communications, and Strategy & Growth. Along the way, she supported leaders driving major initiatives like the merchandising transformation, the CVS pharmacy transition, crisis communications, and DEI efforts. These experiences sparked her passion for program work and ultimately led her to pivot into her current role.

Before joining Target, Erica was a marketing manager for a food ingredient company and a whey protein isolate brand. Her work took her to marathons, bodybuilding competitions, natural food expos—and even into partnerships with MLB teams. She holds a degree in Sociology: Law, Criminology and Deviance from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities.

Outside of work, Erica lives near Waconia, Minnesota with her husband, three kids, and two dogs. Her family loves all things outdoors—ice fishing, hunting, boating—and they’re often on the go, whether it’s cheering on their oldest at sports or visiting their toddler’s favorite spot: his grandparents’ hobby farm
