Methods and Contractor Intelligence Manager, formerly Director of Strategic Procurement

As Methods & Contractor Intelligence Manager at ExxonMobil Global Projects, Doug is responsible for work processes, systems, tools, and training for contracting, execution planning, and materials management for capital project development and execution. He manages the contract engineers providing technical input into project deliverables and provides oversight on bids and contracts. Doug also managers the Contractor Relationship Management program for the strategic Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractors in Global Projects.

Doug has spent 32 years with ExxonMobil, starting his career with Exxon Company, U.S.A. in Houston in 1990. He has held a number of positions with Exxon and now ExxonMobil in Supply Chain, Acquisitions, Sourcing, Projects, Finance, Planning, Start Ups and Local Content in a number of domestic U.S. and international locations.

Doug currently serves on the board of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council and is Chair of the Energy Industry Advisory Board. He serves on the American Petroleum Institute’s (API) Working Group on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and leads the Supplier Diversity Task Force. Doug is also the Committee Chair for the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 772, out of Spring Texas, and is a board member for the Tall Timbers District.

Doug graduated with honors from The Pennsylvania State University in 1990. Doug, his wife, Dawn, and their four boys live in The Woodlands, Texas.
