Carla Traci Preston has amassed extensive leadership and expertise in supply chain management and product development with assignments in manufacturing, quality, product planning, strategy, global purchasing and supplier Diversity and inclusion (SDI).
As Amazon.com Services LLC’s (Amazon), Carla is currently the Director Global Corporate Procurement SDI. This role is an integral component of Amazon’s commitment to foster diversity and inclusion as well as to identify ways to amplify underrepresented voices and empower the diverse communities which we work, live and do business.

Prior to joining Amazon, Carla was the Vice President (VP) Global Supply Chain at Stanley Black and Decker. In 2016, Carla joined Dura Automotive, as the VP Global Supply Chain Management (CPO), Policy and Strategy. Carla was a member of Ford Motor Company’s team for 15 years and served as the Director of Global SDI.

Carla has been recognized with numerous awards in leadership, engineering, SDI and community service. Carla is involved in several philanthropic activities. She has served on the Board of Directors for: National Minority Supplier Diversity Council, U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Michigan Minority Supplier Diversity Council and Great Lakes Women’s Business Council.
