Dee C. Marshall is an active and engaged member and leader of the WBENC community, serving as Second Vice Chair of the WBENC Forum WBE Engagement Team. We asked Dee to share her thoughts on her involvement with the Forum and how she’s engaging with fellow WBEs:

In addition to the loss of life, business owners have lost their livelihood with more than 42% of Black-owned businesses and over 20% of women-owned businesses losing their company. While I am sensitive to those going through tough times, I’m grateful to still be in business and I’m hopeful for those who are in transition.

As Second Vice-Chair of the WBENC Forum Engagement Team, we have been working diligently planning ways to support our fellow WBEs. We just wrapped our session, and I’m excited for the women of WBENC and I’m holding space for a new season, a new level, a new business, a new innovative product, a new solution, a new service, a new merger or acquisition (on your terms), a new team, a new contract, a new recognition, a new title and a new love story of how you came out on top.

I’m praying for all of us to come out on top this year and happy to be part of a community, a leader on the WBENC Forum, and in a room full of winners.
