The 2025 WBE Stars are being celebrated throughout the year, with the culmination at the vibrant WBENC National Conference, held June 23-26, 2025, in New Orleans, Louisiana. This dynamic event served as a hub for business excellence, innovation, and networking. Thousands of attendees gathered to celebrate the strength and rich tapestry of the WBENC Network. It was a time to recognize the ongoing contributions of entrepreneurs and change makers, including the 14 exceptional WBE Stars ACCELERATING impact across the network.
Meet Pamela Isom, President and CEO of ICE Safety Solutions, with the Women’s Business Enterprise Council – Pacific Regional Partner Organization. From a young age, Pam had a clear and unwavering mission: “To be sure no one around her became ill, injured, or would lose a life.” That purpose was sparked at age 16 while working as a lifeguard, where she received CPR training that would later prove life-saving when she recognized signs of congestive heart failure in her father and was able to act swiftly.
Motivated by that pivotal experience, Pam went on to found ICE Safety Solutions, building a team around her dedicated to safety education and emergency preparedness. At the heart of the organization is the “Wall of Life,” a powerful collection of stories from individuals who used the training they received to save lives in critical, real-world situations. As a leader, Pam brings inspiration, optimism, and passion to everything she does—empowering her team and the broader community to embrace safety not just as a protocol, but as a purpose-driven way of life.

Be proactive and confident with HOPE: Happiness-Opportunity-Profitability-Excellence.
Be sure your projects make you HAPPY. Don’t chase the Client or Brand because they are big and national. If you cannot maintain profitability, it is okay to walk away from the project. STAY EXCELLENT. Exceed expectations for Clients and Staff, before they expect it.

What legacy do you hope to leave in the business community?
I, Pamela Isom, President and CEO of ICE Safety Solutions, aspires to leave a legacy centered on proactive safety preparedness and the empowerment of individuals to save lives. My personal experiences, including witnessing my father’s heart attack at a young age, ignited a lifelong commitment to safety and emergency response.
My leadership at ICE Safety Solutions has enabled me to develop comprehensive safety programs and innovative training methods, such as Virtual Reality (VR) simulations, to enhance emergency preparedness for corporations across the globe.
I try to emphasize the importance of proactive safety measures, aiming to transform emergencies into manageable events through proper training and preparedness.
It is my hope that my dedication to women owned businesses spans beyond my business endeavors; by actively mentoring and coaching women and minority entrepreneurs, by sharing my twenty-five years in business experience to help them navigate challenges and accelerate success.
By fostering a culture of safety and success and supporting the growth of diverse owned business, I will always strive to create a lasting impact on the business community, ensuring that safety and empowerment remain at the forefront of corporate priorities over profit.
