WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT?

WBEC-East’s signature event is back! Our annual Women’s History Month Luncheon links women business owners, supplier diversity leaders, purchasing professionals, and community leaders to gain access to opportunities and to build social and power networks.

During the lunch portion, be inspired by established women in business who exemplify this year’s National Women’s History Month theme… “Celebrating Women Who Tell Our Stories.”

After lunch get ready to make some powerful connections during our most popular form of facilitated networking- Meet & Greets!

WHY DOES EVERYONE LOVE MEET & GREETS?

A Meet & Greet is like speed dating between certified WBEs and procurement executives.

After lunch, representatives of WBEC-East’s Corporate and Government Partners will each be seated at individual round tables. WBEs are invited to sit down at the table of their choice- usually about 5-6 WBEs per table. Each WBE will take turns pitching their business, the procurement representative will share their opportunities, and everyone will swap business cards.

After about 20 minutes, it’s time to go find another table, and meet another Corporate Partner!

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

WBENC Certified women business enterprise firms, corporate and government members, and anyone else interested in hearing stories from successful women. All are welcome to attend.
