Ivy White

Global Commodity Manager

Ivy White, a native of Columbus, Ohio, graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering. Upon graduation, she went to work at Honda of America, Manufacturing as a Supplier Quality Engineer. She worked in this position a few years before transferring to the Cost Planning Group within the North American Purchasing Division and worked as a buyer of brake systems. From there, Ivy was recruited to Toyota where she spent over 10 years in Direct Purchasing as a buyer, and then manager in both Interior and Chassis groups.

In 2022, Ivy transitioned to General Motors where she now works as a Global Commodity Manager in Electrification Power Electronics within Global Purchasing Supply Chain. At GM, Ivy also serves as one of the leads for the GPSC DEI Talent Pillar. Ivy is a proud member of Second Baptist Church of Ann Arbor. She also serves as a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and National Society of Black Engineers.
