Grow & Scale in Tech

Women are entering the technology sector in low and declining numbers. When they do, they often have difficulty navigating large technology companies. WBENC and Dell Technologies are on a mission to change this trend by dedicating resources to advancing women-owned businesses in technology.

The Women in Technology (WiT) program is presented by Dell Technologies and designed for women entrepreneurs in technology. The executive education program focuses on:

  • Understanding the future of technology, how it will impact the business world, and how WBEs can align their services in preparation for change.
  • Increase competence in day-to-day operations (sales, marketing, finance) and acquire high level strategic planning required to grow their business.
  • Gain business development and marketing knowledge to ensure growth/scale is managed properly.
  • Highlight the steps to form strategic alliances – and how WBEs can get their foot in the door as suppliers to large tech companies, like Dell.

The tech program offered by Dell to support diversity suppliers has been very valuable in helping us navigate through the challenges of Covid and plan our resources to support the uncertainties - while still aligning for growth in areas of Cloud and Cybersecurity. My team and I are also very thankful to Dell for a strong partnership

My time here these past few days has been transformational. The speakers were not only addressing very real topics and areas for growth, but they did it in a way that was genuine and unexpected. I felt as though they cared about their work and they cared about what they chose to share with us in an impactful way. I am leaving today with a very full heart and real tools based on what I have learned and experienced. I’m grateful to WBENC for their partnership with Dell Technologies. This has been by far the most personally beneficial event that I have attended through WBENC
