During the first educational webinar, gain insight into the upstream portion of the Research & Development supply chain. Join this webinar to learn the various components of the supply chain and the processes for managing relationships with suppliers, understand critical areas, and identify diverse supplier gaps.This session will be held May 18 from 3:00 – 4:30 pm EDT.
- Session #2 | Successful Contracting with Healthcare
The second educational webinar, will focus on how to successfully contract with Healthcare companies in Research & Development. Join the webinar to gain an understanding of the specific requirements and certifications needed.This session will be held August 17 from 3:00 – 4:30 pm EDT.
- The Healthcare Industry WBE Showcase is an invitation–only session that will allow selected WBE companies to present directly to corporate buyers and prime suppliers from the WBENC Healthcare Advisory Board. The five companies that make up the Healthcare Advisory Board (Bristol-Myers Squibb, Johnson & Johnson, Medtronic, Merck & Co., and Pfizer Inc) will select the WBEs that they feel can fill a sourcing need to be part of the WBE Showcase. To be eligible to participate in the WBE showcase, you must attend one or both educational sessions.
The Showcase will be held on October 12 & 19 from 1 – 4 pm EDT.
The WBENC Healthcare Advisory Board is comprised of five companies: Bristol–Myers Squibb, Johnson & Johnson, Medtronic, Merck & Co., and Pfizer Inc. The board focuses on supplier diversity and inclusion of women’s business enterprises (WBEs) in the Healthcare Industry supply chain.
