Join the Women & Pride Peer Groups + Community Building session August 12, 3:00-4:30pm ET. The session is designed to address the challenges faced by LGBTQ+ women business owners by sharing resources, strategizing to overcome problems, and forming new partnerships. This session is open to all women business owners who identify as LGBTQ+.

WHY PARTICIPATE?

Studies show that LGBTQ+ women are underrepresented at every stage of the management pipeline. For LGBTQ+ women, who are workplace minorities in both gender and sexual orientation, the feeling of isolation is common—and particularly challenging—in work environments.

The Women & Pride Peer Group was designed to build a community of LGBTQ+ women business owners to voice shared experiences, strategize with one another to overcome problems, and to strengthen the WBENC entrepreneurial ecosystem.

As an outreach and development program, WBENC Women & Pride programming is open to all women business owners who identify as LGBTQ+, including WBENC-Certified Women’s Business Enterprises and those not yet certified. We also invite all allies of the LGBTQ+ community including WBEs, Corporate Members, and other partners.
