Pitch your business to major corporations and government entities as part of WBENC’s Procurement Opportunity Connection Program, including 1:1 MatchMaker Meetings and Meet & Greet.

One of the biggest challenges women entrepreneurs face is getting their foot in the door at large corporations to access opportunities and contracts. Part of our mission is to remove those barriers by connecting women-owned businesses certified by WBENC directly with representatives of some of the nation’s largest corporations and government entities.

Here are two key programs WBENC offers to help foster those connections and fuel business opportunities for women entrepreneurs:

1:1 MatchMaker Meetings

An exclusive benefit for WBENC-Certified Women’s Business Enterprises (WBEs) and WBENC Corporate and Government Members, our 1:1 MatchMaker program is designed to help connect women-owned businesses with procurement decision-owners from corporations and government agencies to fuel business opportunities. 1:1 MatchMaker Meetings are pre-scheduled, one-on-one meetings scheduled by the corporate representatives based on their existing or future procurement needs.

For eligible WBEs, 1:1 MatchMaker Meetings provide an incredible opportunity to meet one-on-one for 20 minutes with major corporations and government entities who are seeking diverse suppliers and are specifically interested in their services.

For Corporate and Government Members, the 1:1 MatchMaker program offers a streamlined and efficient way to meet dozens of innovative women-owned businesses based on your procurement needs, all in one sitting.

Meet & Greet

Another popular program that helps connect WBEs to Corporate and Government Members is Meet & Greet, which puts WBEs in the driver’s seat, allowing them to pitch their business to the corporation of their choosing in an open but formal setting. During this three-hour program, participating WBENC National Corporate and Government Members are assigned a table, and each WBE at the table has 90 seconds to pitch her business, outlining her company’s capacity as well as what differentiates her company from others in their industry. After the introductions, the corporate representative has an opportunity to ask questions and engage in a round table discussion.
