Opportunities Open Doors: Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP) Annual Leadership Meeting

Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP), a national nonpartisan organization advocating on behalf of women entrepreneurs, is hosting its Annual Leadership Meeting on October 3-4, 2017, at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C. The meeting is not only intended to ensure policymakers, experts, and the media hear directly from women business owners about what they need to thrive, but also to give women business owners the chance to learn valuable skills, network with other women in business, and advocate for the issues that matter.

Highlights of this year’s conference include:

  • Reception and awards dinner at the Mayflower Hotel; JJ Ramberg, host of MSNBC's Your Business, has been invited.
  • Keynote address by Jennifer Lawless, Director of the Women & Politics Institute at American University’s School of Public Affairs.
  • Media training and visits to the Hill.
  • A catered lunch in the Dirksen Senate Office Building on Capitol Hill featuring Senator Joni Ernst; SBA Administrator Linda McMahon has also been invited.

You don’t have to be a member of WIPP to attend, but spots are limited, so register today! Early bird registration expires September 8.
