eb5 specializes in creating anti-aging skincare treatments to treat and prevent the signs of aging for healthier, younger-looking skin. Our formulas are based in science and inspired by our pharmaceutical heritage with no irritants, fragrance or harsh chemicals. Named for the ingredients best for your skin: Vitamin E & Pro-Vitamin B5 delivered in a gentle and effective, moisturizing base.

eb5’s cream base was initially created by Pharmacist Heldfond in the fifties as an odorless, greaseless cream he could use to deliver medications to burn victims. Heldfond was working with local Portland hospitals to create treatments, but it was the nurses who were the most excited about his creams. The nurses saw such a difference in their skin when they applied his medicinal creams to patients that they asked for a non-medicinal cream they could use every day. This was the inspiration for our cream today: Heldfond took his cream base, added the two best ingredients for healthy skin, Vitamin E and Vitamin B5, and called it his “formula e-b5” cream.

Over time additional products were added to the line, most of which were developed directly with Heldfond. Every product was added because it was gentle, effective, and non-irritating. Every product has Vitamins, botanicals, anti-oxidants and soothing formulas to ensure that you will have the same results that those nurses had decades ago: skin that you love.

eb5 is a unique company, not only because it is women-owned, but because we support our community so tremendously. We are a family here, we care about our customers, our employees, and what we put out into the world. That is why we are so proud of being WBENC members, helping to support Women-Owned Businesses across the US.
