Women Owned Wednesday - Holiday Recipes

Thanksgiving is a time to come together with loved ones, show gratitude, and eat delicious food. Vanilla Cake Balls

Cook Time: 0 min.


2 boxes of The Piping Gourmets Vanilla Cake Whoopie Pies (8 whoopie pies)

6 oz. white chocolate candy melts

Cinnamon to taste


Place all 8 whoopie pies in a bowl or food processor. Mix whoopie pies until the pies are blended and form small crumbs – about 2 minutes. Scoop crumbs out 1 tablespoon at a time. Roll into tight balls and place on wax paper. Repeat until all crumbs are in tight balls. Refrigerate the cake balls for 10 minutes. Melt candy melts in microwave on 50% for 1 minute. Quickly coat cake balls in melted chocolate and place back on wax paper. Sprinkle with cinnamon if desired. Refrigerate 5 minutes or until coating is completely hardened.

Tahini Caramel Apples

Prep Time: 50 min.

Cook Time: 0 min.


8 green apples

1/3 cup Soom Foods Sesame Premium Tahini

1 cup Dipsa Snacks Roasted Salted Peanuts, chopped

11 oz. Sweet Jules Gifts Classic Vanilla Caramels

2 tbsp. water

8 popsicle sticks or plastic forks


Rinse apples and insert sticks through the top. Refrigerate apples for 20 minutes. Spread chopped peanuts on a plate and set aside. In a medium saucepan, heat caramels and water on medium stirring constantly until caramels are fully melted. Stir in the tahini until smooth and reduce heat to low. Remove apples from refrigerator and immediately dip in saucepan to coat in caramel mixture. Once excess has dripped off, roll the bottom half of the apple in the chopped peanuts and place on wax paper. Refrigerate another 20 minutes or until coating is completely hardened.

Honey Glazed Green Bean Bundles

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 30 min.


1 lb. bag Southern Valley Green Beans

8 pieces of bacon, halved

½ cup butter

¼ cup Nectar Fresh Honey

½ tsp Heather’s Dirty Goodness Original seasoning


Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Gather green beans in bundles of 6. Wrap one half piece of bacon around each bundle and place on baking sheet. In a microwave-safe bowl, microwave butter, honey, and seasoning on 50% power for 1 minute. Stir and pour butter mixture over green bean bundles. Bake for 30 minutes.

Cheesy Cauliflower Tater Tots

Cook Time: 20 min.


2 bags Mann’s Cauliflower Cauliettes (28 oz. total)

2 eggs

2 cups fresh Mozzarella Company Mozzarella Balls, chopped finely

¼ cup Mozzarella Company Rosemary Montasio, grated

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp Heather’s Dirty Goodness Original seasoning

¼ cup Chedz

1 jar Galassi Sweet Tomato Basil Pasta Sauce for dipping


Preheat oven to 375 degrees. One at a time, microwave each Mann’s Cauliflower Cauliettes in bag, seam up, for 4 minutes. Blend Chedz, baking powder, and Heather’s Dirty Good Original seasoning in a food processor. In large mixing bowl, combine dry ingredients, cauliettes, eggs, mozzarella, and montasio cheese. Scoop out 1 tablespoon of mixture, form into tot, and place on greased bakingsheet. Repeat until all of the mixture is formed into tots. Bake 20 minutes until golden brown. Serve with Galassi Sweet Tomato Basil Pasta Sauce for dipping.
