Company Background

Sherrill Mosee, inventor and designer of MinkeeBlue set out to solve a problem. Like many women, Sherrill often carried two or three bags to work—a purse, laptop bag, lunch bag, and sometimes shoes in her purse. She wanted to create an organizational fashion bag for busy professionals whose role changes throughout the day—from executive, to fitness enthusiast, traveler, and mom.

Sherrill is former president of Family Care Solutions, a nonprofit organization she founded to promote higher education among low-income women with children. She came up with the idea for MinkeeBlue after traveling to work with her normal three bags and seeing the young moms struggle in the same way—with their purse, diaper bag and book bag. Mosee put her formal education to work, a degree in engineering, and came up with the patented design.

About the Products

MinkeeBlue Travel/Work Bags are designed to solve a problem—eliminate the need to carry two or three bags. With a MinkeeBlue, women can now take items normally carried in her purse, lunch bag and laptop bag, and organize them in one MinkeeBlue bag. Whatever is needed for her busy day—shoes, laptop, umbrella, purse essentials, phone, lunch, sweater, snacks, files—it’s all in the bag.

MinkeeBlue features a 2-in-1 patent pending bag with an adjustable divider. When the divider is in the closed position, it creates an upper and lower compartment, separating items from the top and bottom. When the divider is in its open position, the travel bag becomes an open tote bag. MinkeeBlue’s functionality and versatility is what sets it apart from other brands.

Quote from CEO:

“My mother would always say, ‘If you can dream it, you can do it!’ With those words from my mom, I studied aerospace engineering in college before I ever took my first plane ride. I changed my major to electrical engineering, because my mom said I could do anything! With no previous knowledge of fashion, manufacturing, marketing, or design, I created MinkeeBlue, because I can do anything!” – Sherrill Mosee
