National Committees/National Sub-Committees
WBENC's National Committees are comprised of representatives from WBENC's Board of Directors, Corporate Members, Regional Partner Organizations, and Women's Enterprise Leadership Forum. The National Committees are led by a Chair and Vice Chair that serve as members of WBENC's Board of Directors. Each National Committee is supported by two WBENC Staff members.
WBENC-Certified WBEs, that are not members of the afore-mentioned groups, can be invited to serve on a National Sub-Committee, providing they offer an area of expertise that supports the goals of the group. National Sub-Committee Chairs are appointed by the National Committee Chair, and National Sub-Committee members must be approved by the Committee Chair and Vice Chair.
National Committee and Sub-Committee positions are NOT paid positions. Work or services performed by National Committee and Sub-Committee members are done on a gratis basis.
WBENC Suppliers are invited to provide reports to the appropriate Committee or Sub-Committee on an as needed basis.
