Be Our Next Expert!


Ask the Expert typically features 3 to 5 WBEs or Corporate Members every week (in rotation). Each author will submit an article on one of the topics below, which will be posted on Mondays in tWBENC's new website. The author will have the opportunity to answer selected questions from readers about the article, during the week the article appears.  Click here to view the current edition of Ask the Expert.

  12. Leveraging Social Media to Promote Your Business

If you would like to participate in as an Ask the Expert guru, please use these guidelines:


Submit an e-mail with the following materials to WBENC-News@wbenc.org. The subject line of your email should include the name of the topic.
  • An article, containing 150 words or less, on one of the topics listed above
  • A business headshot in .jpg format at 72 or 300 dpi, along with your name, title and company name, as it should appear in the photo's caption
  • A two-sentence description about what makes you or your company a subject matter expert on the specific topic.
  • Ability to respond to questions during the week your write-up is posted.
  • Questions will be forwarded to you on a real-time basis.
  • Experts are to select and respond to a maximum of three frequently asked questions received on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and/or Thursday.
  • Responses should not exceed 100 words.
  • Forward the questions and your answers to wbenc-news@wbenc.org using the instructions that will be provided to you when you are selected as an Expert.
  • WBENC will upload the questions and answers.
  • New Experts and topics will be uploaded on the following Monday.
