Ahold USA Resale Vendor Day Event - PA

Ahold USA (AUSA) presents its 3rd Annual Supplier Diversity Vendor Day. This is a change from the previous Vendor Fair format to a more direct engagement between the vendor and the Ahold Procurement Team. This format will be a business meeting with the category in one of the conference rooms.

To participate, you must register by June 22. There will NOT be a charge for vendors to attend the 2016 Ahold Supplier Diversity Vendor Day.

This event is for diverse suppliers that currently do not have a business relationship with AUSA. It brings potential opportunity for placement in AUSA retail divisions.

After registration closes (June 22), AUSA will get back to participants with specific information about your Vendor Day Assignment. Vendors should bring the following:

  • Power Point Presentation Deck (Sample presentation will be provided by AUSA)
  • Strong product narrative
  • Samples

At the end of the meeting, the Merchandiser will provide the vendor feedback. This feedback will consist of one of the following:

  • Item will be considered during next product review. The Category Merchandiser should be able to provide you with an estimated timeframe for that review. Additional information is needed before item can be considered for review. The Category Merchandiser should provide you with what additional information is needed. Product is not a right fit for AUSA. Category Merchandiser will provide you with a specific reason.
  • We have interest in identifying potential vendors in our Fresh, Non Perishables, General Merchandise and Health & Beauty Departments. Whether you have the capabilities of providing product to all of our stores (approximately 800) or only have the capabilities for a small number of stores within a specific geographic footprint, we want you to participate in our Supplier Diversity Vendor Day.
  • You are allowed and encouraged to bring samples. There will be a small kitchen available should you need to prepare product on-site.
