WBEC PA-DE-sNJ Federal Government Webinar Series: Translating Federal Contracting "Government-ese"

The Women’s Business Enterprise Council – PA, DE, sNJ presents this webinar series designed to go beyond the basics to help WBEs better understand the navigate the federal market. This particular session will cover terms, acronyms, and legislation firms are likely to encounter when preparing proposals and negotiating contracts with the federal government. This class is designed to help WBEs with little or no Federal Contracting experience understand the basic terminology and legalese used by Contracting Officers in Solicitation, Negotiation, and Award documents. 

This series is open only to WBENC Certified Women Business Enterprise firms and those that are listed in WBENCLink as "in process." All sessions are free. Registration is required. 

Workshop Facilitator:

George Murray, Lead Economic Development Specialist
George Murray, oversees a team that assists small businesses for half of the Eastern PA District of the U.S. Small Business Administration. Prior to becoming the team lead, he served at the SBA as a Business Opportunity Specialist, where his primary responsibilities included conducting information sessions that teach small business owners the process for doing business with the federal government and the small business contracting programs and providing support to companies that are certified in the SBA's 8(a) Business Development Program. George spent the first part of his career as a Senior Market Research Analyst with Suss Consulting, Inc., where he provided a wide range of custom consulting services to information technology and telecommunications firms pursuing federal government contracts. Over the course of his consulting career, he has helped his clients win more than $10 billion in federal contract dollars.
