Q: What did you do before you started at WBENC?
A: Before coming to WBENC, I worked in NYC at the Women Presidents’ Organization. I worked with the Chapter Chairs across the country, two of the four Platinum Groups and overall membership for WPO. I was introduced to Pam at an event while she was at Pfizer and I expressed to her my interest in supplier diversity and passion to support Women Business Enterprises. We connected and she became my mentor over the next few years. A year after Pam had taken the President & CEO position at WBENC, she and I discussed the opportunity for me to join the WBENC Team.
Q: What keeps you busy at WBENC/What are the main projects you work on?
A: Most of my time is devoted to the Forum in planning their programming and guiding the WBEs on the Forum Teams. I also work with the Tuck-WBENC Executive Program, our Dorothy B. Brothers Scholarship, the WBE Stars program and awards for WBENC.
Q: What is your favorite part of working at WBENC?
A: My favorite part are the events and engaging with our network face to face. WBENC has the most incredible network and people ever!
Q: What do you do for fun outside of work?
A: I love just spending time with my family, going for walks outside and soaking in our little baby boy!
It is with a heavy heart that I will be leaving the WBENC team and transitioning back to the NJ area in the upcoming months. I know that I will forever be a part of WE ARE WBENC but will miss the people and job I get to do every day. Over the past 5 years, I have met so many amazing Corporate Members, RPO leaders, WBEs and WBENC staff but am excited to start my search for a new position in this next chapter. I hope to stay in touch and look forward to attending future WBENC events.
