ABOUT THE PRODUCTS

Chedz is a line of flavorful, cheesy and wholesome snacks loved by adults and children. Enjoy Chedz straight from the bag, or serve them with party mixes, salads, soups, dips, beer, wine, cocktails, coffee and many other accompaniments. Chedz can also be used as a delicious, low carb alternative to bread crumbs in recipes. Chedz comes in wheat and gluten free varieties, and is made with simple ingredients. In addition to being low carb, it is high in protein, has no added sugar, and is full of real cheese and savory spices. Our baked cheese snacks are wonderfully addicting, and family members will fight over them or hide them from one another. Smile…say Chedz!

COMPANY BACKGROUND

Hall Brands was founded by Susan Hall in September 2013 from her desire to re-invent herself, and from the encouragement of her family and friends to market her coveted baked cheese snacks called Chedz. When Susan, a former program manager for a tech company, became a stay at home mom, she yearned to have the best of both worlds. She wanted to stay at home raising her children while enjoying a challenging part-time career. She did not imagine that the first bags to hit store shelves would fly off so quickly. She could not keep up with the demand. Three years later, Hall Brands now sells nationally, appearing in major grocery chains and natural retailers and winning a national Comcast Innovations 4 Entrepreneurs Grand Prize.

QUOTE FROM CEO ON BEING A WOMEN OWNED BUSINESS

I am proud to be a Women Owned business and am honored to be certified by WBENC. I hope that I can inspire young girls to consider becoming entrepreneurs. My goal is to continue to provide stay at home parents a part time outlet and to give back to the many food organizations that helped our family as I was growing up.
- Susan Hall
