MatchMaker Meetings
The MatchMaker Meetings connect WBENC-certified Women's Business Enterprises (WBEs) and corporate purchasing officials for private face-to-face meetings to discuss potential opportunities.

Corporate purchasing officials are WBENC National Corporate Members or Corporate Members of a Regional Partner Organization and a sponsor of WIB2010.

Only business owners who are WBENC-Certified (U.S. only) and registered as a full-conference attendee for WBENC's National Conference and Business Fair, Women in Business 2010: The Opportunity Connection (WIB2010), are eligible for these one-on-one, pre-scheduled meetings.

Each meeting will be a 15-minute session. These meetings will take place between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 24, 2009 at the Baltimore Convention Center.

Eligibility to participate in a MatchMaker Meeting: In order to apply for a WIB2010 MatchMaker Meeting, your company must be currently certified by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) through one of its 14 Regional Partner Organizations. WBEs must also be registered by May 28 (EXTENDED) for WIB2010. After you complete your registration for WIB2010, you will receive instructions for the WIB2010 MatchMaker Meeting program.

NOTE: Only those WBENC-Certified WBEs (U.S. only) that meet the above Eligibility Requirements will be considered for MatchMaker Meetings.  Registration and payment to WIB2010 is required before a WBENC-Certified WBE is eligible for a MatchMaker Meeting. 

MatchMaker Meetings are driven by the needs of participating corporations and not by WBENC.  There is no guarantee that a WBENC Certified WBE will be invited by one or more corporations to participate in a Meeting. 

WBENC has a no-refund policy.  No payments (registration fee, exhibitor fee, sponsorship fee, etc.) will be refunded if a WBENC-Certified WBE does not receive an invitation to participate in a MatchMaker Meeting.  No exceptions.
