WBENC is the only national organization providing a standardized certification process that includes a detailed notarized affidavit, client interviews and site visits. As a corporate, government or non-profit member of the Women's Business Enterprise National Council, Corporate Member Benefits include:

  • Sourcing capability reaching more than 9,000 certified WBEs through WBENCLink, a passcode-protected, searchable Internet database featuring downloadable certificates for each Women's Business Enterprise (WBE).
  • MatchMaker Meetings connect procurement professionals with qualified WBEs through face-to-face meetings allowing them to increase diversity spend.
  • Access to MatchMaker365, WBENC's new online business matching, scheduling, and tracking portal, which helps Buyers identify and meet the right WBE suppliers and obtain the right products or services.

  • Confidence in awarding contracts to WBEs whose certifications have been processed with strict, standardized procedures, strictly adhered to by WBENC's Regional Partner Organizations, so you and your buying organizations can accurately report expenditures and utilization rates.
  • Memos of Understanding with the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce expanding the number of certified Latina and lesbian businesses. WBENC actively builds the diversity of our WBEs.

Education and Participation

  • Assistance with the development or expansion of women's business supplier programs using WBENC's Best Practices in Supplier Diversity and the patented WBENC's Balanced Score Card for WBE Process Improvement, a tool that enables corporations to self measure performance in attaining excellence in supplier diversity programs.
